I've signed up for intoabar a couple of times, and have gotten terrible assignments, but I'm trying to get myself back into writing so I thought I'd give it one more go.

And I got the pairing of my dreams!

I'm not going to say what it is quite yet, because I could still screw the pooch. But seriously, if I'd had to pick my own match, this is exactly what I'd have picked.

I tried signing up for intoabar last year hoping it might kickstart my writing, but I got a truly terrible pairing that I probably couldn't have done anything with even if I hadn't been suffering from the worst writer's block I've ever experienced.

This year, I seem to have kicked the writer's block to the curb (I'm nearly done the epic fic I couldn't write a word of last year!) and I've realized that you can appeal a bad pairing for the challenge, so I'm going to give it a shot again.
