I've never read in a fandom before watching a show, though I've been tempted a few times. (I came closest with Pros, which I knew I'd love, but persevered and finally found a few episodes on grey market tapes.) I'd totally hold out for the DVDs being more affordable. They are stupidly expensive now. I only relented and got them 'cause I'd been waiting so darn long.

As for the dominant UNCLE fan narratives, I'm definitely glad we're beyond the poor little Illya days. I've always favoured writing them as equals.
