Ahhh petal, I really liked it in its original form and I love it now.

I really love the linguistic touches like: He looks out the window in time to see four men—former soldiers from their bearing, and blackguards by their behaviour—strike Watson and bundle him into a windowless carriage and the growing understanding between Holmes and Mary is just really nicely done.
