Hiya. Thanks for this - I really enjoyed reading it, which is all the more remarkable because I don't actually know anything about Mark or his music. (Try not to look too appalled :)) But it was brilliant and somehow it now seems completely reasonable that you should spend a day in a queue after crossing the Atlantic.
I've heard that queuing arrangements for big events can be half the fun. Or, well, not half the fun, but at least some fun :) Delighted to hear that was true for you. Well, until the queue-jumpers arrived. Grr. I've ended up in great conversations in queues for events, so I can only imagine what it's like when you multiply it by however many people are in the queue around you.
