We had a double-pronged attack for the mugs. Since soundofthesurf didn't want to be close, she was going to buy an extra mug for me. But after we'd staked out our spot, I hit the loo and realized there was no lineup at the merch table, so I picked up a mug too. (I figured that there would be someone who wanted it if we ended up with an extra.) In the end, they sold out before rangerke could get one, so she took the extra. It only worked because there was more than just me, though.

And yes, a good spot for the show is the most important thing!
