Fortunately the fever seems to have been a 24 hour thing. I was really hoping it wasn't going to be a repeat of last year's pneumonia.
When we started getting the moths, I got some mothballs, but I've held off on using them because a) they're supposed to only work well in enclosed spaces, b) they smell horrible and c) they're horrendously toxic. What with having both a child who's curious, and a cat who tends to lick anything she gets hold of (she licks dryer sheets, for goodness sake) I figure they'd not the sort of thing we should have around.
