I am a Black Belt!

I am also extremely tired.

I'll write about the whole (fabulous! terrifying!) experience later, but for now I thought I'd mention that the video of the event will be up for a few days here:

The whole thing is worth watching, but my musical form starts at 1h03m if you're curious about that.

Oh I see what you mean... and how you'd feel more mentally than physically exhausted at this point.
I watched your musical form and I'm very impressed with it: very clean, confident moves and how you made it look almost effortless. Well done. I also liked the music for your form. It sounded like having more Eastern/Asian elements than other pieces of music I heard in other parts of the video which seemed more "Western"-like and I think somehow jarred with the whole martial arts concept. Or maybe I'm not used to this 'fusion' element, but I have very little direct experience of how martial arts are taught here in 'the West'.
😊

My music was the main theme to Once Upon a Time in China, a Hong Kong martial arts film with Jet Li.

I've got no problem with using more Western music with martial arts (I tried out a couple of Take That songs myself) but once I pulled out this music my mentor insisted it was the one to use.
