I like that Aragorn can sense that Boromir is a 'good man' despite all the signs and portents. Yet it is not the goodness that draws him to Boromir, but that he may be fated--as Aragorn himself is. Boromir's perspective is about possession: His ranger. But for how long? As ever, Boromir focuses on control, rather than need.
I liked them both, and found this series very enjoyable. Congrats of finding those fleeting moments to celebrate in all your 'ships.
