The End Is In Sight
I've been slogging away at my
muncle giftie story and the end of it is finally in sight. Four scenes to go, two of them quite short, and I'll be done. Then I can send it to a beta and see if they think it's crap.
This has been an unusual process for me. For possibly the first time ever, I've written a longish story (5600 words and counting, yikes!) without having a detailed outline first. In fact, didn't really have an outline at all, beyond the recipient's requests. Very interesting, and occasionally terrifying. I don't know that I'd make a habit of it, but it's interesting to know that I can write without an outline.
