I had a nice birthday -- went to lunch with the kids, my mom, and my sister. Now we're lazing about watching rented movies.

That's right! I'd forgotten. Stormy took Lauren and me out to dinner (Lauren's bday was earlier in the week), and we stuffed ourselves, then came back here and watched as much as we could tolerate of an excruciatingly bad David Hewlett movie. He was 19 when he made it. I remember getting called for extra work on it but I already had five days of continuity on Street Legal, so I missed out on bragging rights 18 years later. :-)
