Power Back
We got power back around 5 a.m., though apparently not all of Toronto is so lucky. After we got home (I drove from work, slowly, while my partner walked an hour from downtown) we actually spent a rather relaxed evening, talking, listening to the radio and watching the stars from our third floor balcony. (I always knew that would be a great place to stargaze, if only it wasn't in the middle of the city.) As a bonus, we even got to see a few meteors from the Perseid meteor shower.
Today will be another lazy day--I was actually supposed to be volunteering for the film fest today, but since their phone lines appear to be down and the subways aren't running, I rather suspect there would be nothing to volunteer at if I managed to get downtown--hopefully spent reading and writing. My Wild Wild West editor will no doubt be glad to hear that, since the deadline for her zine is rapidly approaching and thus far I only have an outline. Or maybe I'll just write LotR smut. *g*

Hey, at least yours is "part-written." Mine's still strictly in outline form.

Yes, 21,000 words of rambling prose so far - oh joy! ;)
