Pros Slash Proliferation Challenge, Day Two
This time, I've done (far too many) caps from one of my very favourite scenes in the whole series.
Bodie tries to convince Doyle to snap out of it. Of course, it's not going to be that easy.

Doyle delivering the "Do you know what they made of us" line. I love the desperation in his voice and in his face at this point. And how much he clearly cares what people think not only of him, but of Bodie.

Bodie goes all broody, and he's not going to let Ray get away with the self-pity.

Ray pulls back a bit, and there's an even greater sense of despair in his eyes. (I cannot resist men who do the angst thing. It's like catnip for me.)

Bodie's at a temporary loss, but still brooding nicely.

And here we have one of my very favourite stills of Doyle. For whatever reason, I just think he looks utterly beautiful here. There's the slightly open mouth, the quirked eyebrow, the open shirt, the tousled curls. Sigh.

Then there's Bodie, taking the piss with an extremely off colour joke. Well, we don't love him for his tact...

The next two pics lead up to the inevitable bonding moment. Because whatever comes between them, we know they're going to back each other up, don't we?

Ah, Doyle finally cracks. And shows us an enticing hint of a smile. Which leads to...

...possibly the most infectious Bodie grin ever. I can never watch this bit without smiling myself.

Well, one thing's for sure: I certainly had fun doing them. *g*

They both look delicious too, especially Doyle.

Yep, that's pretty much my reaction. *g*

And the other thing about this scene is despite all the clutter on the table, there is *such* a nice, Bodie-arse shape cleared for him to stroll up to the table and sit down *grins*
Thank you so much (oh and - because these caps are so clear, would you mind awfully if I snagged them for icons, pretty please???)

you just want them to snog each other's face off too. Or maybe that's just me.
Nope, defintely not just you. *g*
As for the caps, feel free to snag away. That's what I put 'em up for. (Very nice animated icon, BTW. Makes me smile.)

Yay! Thanks.

because sometimes...he's really not. ;-)
Ain't that the truth. The post I will never do is Doyle's least attractive moments. And there are certainly some doozies.

Even a non-Pros friend of mine, when seeing this scene, figured the next step was them snogging.
No kidding.

Well, considering all the stuff I should be doing...
It was actually sort of fun to concentrate on Bodie a bit more for this post. 'Cause usually in the scene I'm all about watching Ray. (Except for the Bodie grin, of course.) But Bodie has his own wonderful moments in the scene. I get more and more fond of him as the years pass.

Something that interests me about Doyle--well, really, Martin Shaw, is how asymmetrical his features are, and yet he is beautiful. Supposedly the thing humans see as "beauty" is really just symmetry, but his eyes are different, his brows are different and of course his cheekbones are different, and yet we find him beautiful. Go figure.
(I think a lot of it is in his mouth. He has an incredibly sensual mouth.)
