Ray Doyle, You Sexy Devil

So I'm working on a new Pros vid*, and I'm pulling footage from the scene in Public Interest where Bodie and Doyle surrender to the bent coppers. And I happen to notice how Doyle is standing.



He and Bodie are in mortal danger and Doyle's still doing his patented, hip-cocked pose. God bless 'im.

*Don't hold your breath quite yet. It's going to take me a while.

I hadn't noticed him standing like that in that scene before. He was quite a sloucher, leaning on anything....but when he walked, that lovely long legged stride ::phew::

I often wonder if he had a sore back and had to lean on things to ease it.:)

I might not have noticed what he did in that scene either, but I happened to have stopped the footage right there and went "hang on..."

And yeah, the long legged stride is utterly lovely.

The ITPI footage is working a treat. I'm about to look at Blind Run, which should also yield some interesting stuff.

And darn you for putting the gun to my head on this vid. Or the song in my ear, as it were. But you were totally right about it being perfect for Doyle. And it's been mostly fun to work on so far. (I have a feeling I could have finished it in a week were it not for a certain baby. *g*)

I'm getting to the point where I may have enough to show you, so stay tuned. (Interestingly, the choruses are proving the most difficult bits to crack.)
