Hoo-Freaking-Rah!

TheOneRing.net has just posted the theatre listing for Canadian theatres participating in Trilogy Tuesday. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, but there are no other details.

Well, we all know what I'm going to be doing tomorrow.

Kudos to my long suffering partner for finding the news first. And he's not even planning on going.

Aghn! *resists urge to get tickets in Vancouver and drive for four hours just to do Trilogy Tuesday*

Well, I'm seriously considering going to ROTK again on opening day, after doing the trilogy, so ya don't want to look to me for the rational thing to do. (In my defence, opening day is my birthday, so I virtually have to see it that day. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

Rational people? Who are these mythical people you speak of? *wink* My irrationality may lead me to a 6am showing of Matrix: Revolutions at IMAX. Now, in defense for *that*, at least I'm a morning person.

Whoa, 6 am. That I could not do. I'm very much not a morning person. (I made sure I wasn't seeing any film fest screenings till at least noon this year.)

*laughing* I'm such a morning person that midnight showings make no sense to me. I went to an 8pm showing of TTT when it first came out and fell asleep before Helm's Deep. :P Needless to say, I'm planning to see RotK in the morning. ;)

Envy!! I'm not going to be able to do this. I'll be seeing RotK with my friend Jo -- she was given two choices for work: either have Wednesday late morning/early afternoon off on the 17th, or work Tuesday night, the 16th. It's ridiculous. It doesn't make much sense. Either way, there'd be no way we could do Trilogy Tuesday, and I will be toast if I go see it without her. *pouting* I would so love to be able to meet up with you to enjoy the whole trilogy!

Well, boo to Jo's boss.

Seeing as I'm utterly insane, I'm seriously considering seeing ROTK both on Trilogy Tuesday AND the real opening day. (December 17 is my birthday; how could I resist.)

So, hey, if you're seeing it on December 17, perhaps we could still meet up.

We're planning on going to the first show (11:00ish) or the noon show on the 17th, yeah. Can't really do any travelling; that's the end of school for me, so I need all the extra homework time I can get. BUT if you can make it into Newmarket for noon... by all means *G*

I have also just discovered that the trilogy Tuesday tickets are being sold for $49.95. SHRIEK. Even IF Silver City Newmarket was playing it, I couldn't AFFORD to go. ... Well, yeah, I could. But then I would only be able to see RotK ONCE. I wouldn't be able to go see another movie until Troy in May!

Alas, I could only make an evening show on the 17th. (I've only got one vacation day left, and that'll be the 16th.)

As for the cost of tickets, yes, it's crazy. Consequently, I'm ever so thankful that I'm not a student any more. Here's best wishes that you get a fabulously well-paying job when you're done and can see all the films you want.

So do you have your accomplices lined up for the 16th?

Do you need any more?

Do I take it your in?

There's a four ticket limit. I'm assuming Mike and Ceri can get their own, which leaves me to get tickets for me, my friend Sandy and (possibly) Don. So, I could get one for you as well. Just let me know.
