TIFF 2009, The Pretty Picture Post

Because I clearly have too much time on my hands, and because I want to share the pretty, I thought I'd do a wrap up picture post of all the lovely men I saw in person at the film fest this year.

First up is my most favourite guy, Viggo, taken from a film fest photo shoot.

Next up, Colin Farrell, who actually looks better in person than on screen.

Mmmmmm, James Purefoy. Let us just bask in his awesomeness for a moment, shall we.

Alexander Siddig, looking very fine in a shot from his film, Cairo Time.

Finally Sam Neil, as sweet in person as he is nasty on screen.

What lovely pictures! I especially like that one of Alexander Siddig. He's always been an underrated actor, I believe. And aw, Sam Neill, I always loved him. I missed going to TIFF this year. *sad* Next year I must budget better!

I adore Alexander Siddig. I think Spooks missed the boat when they killed him off instead of making him a regular.

I was wondering if you were doing TIFF this year. Hope you make it next year. (They're certainly making it expensive for us all.)

Nice! I, too, think Viggo Mortensen is totally gorgeous. Oddly, though, I think he's more gorgeous as a brunet as opposed to a blond. Especially in LOTR...oh, mama.

I like Viggo either brunet or blond-ish, but I prefer him with short hair and a beard. Yum.

Nice, nice pictures - I heartily approve of this way of wrapping things up.*g* There's something about Viggo Mortenson in particular..

Visual aids are always useful, yeah?

I have to agree with you on Viggo, though they're all rather fine.

James Purefoy has been pushing my buttons for about ten years now, I think he's bloody gorgeous! That's a lovely pic of him, btw.

Very envious of you being able to get up close and personal! *g*

I first noticed Purefoy in A Knight's Tale. Crikey, that was eight years ago!

That is a lovely shot, though not mine, alas. I'm kicking myself for not bringing my camera the day I saw him. I was no more than a foot from him, and when I first went into the theatre he was just mooching about at the entrance by himself. I totally could have gotten a lovely shot of him. (In my defence, it was the second screening, and I didn't reckon anyone from the film would be there.)

Mmmmm... Viggo... *wanders off to happy place*

Viggo always puts me in my happy place too. *g*

wonderful pics! Viggo is stunnig, Purefoy is indeed awesome and Alexander Siddig is edible. I have always had a thing about silvery beards... *sighs*

I'm all about the silvery beards. They make me all shivery inside. *g*
