Awesome Movie Trailer

Knowing my taste as he does, the Sweetie just sent me a link to this trailer:

Centurion

Domenic West and Michael Fassbender play Roman soldiers beset upon by Pict warrior chicks. Directed by Neil Marshall, who made the nifty little soldiers versus werewolves movie, Dog Soldiers, that starred Sean Pertwee and Kevin McKidd.

Looks like Centurion only has a British release date so far, but I seriously cannot wait to see it. The only question will be who to root for: hot, shirtless guys with swords, or awesome, unstoppable warrior chicks.

That is, indeed, a tough call.

It's a puzzler. But I think I've solved it. (See comment below.)

Be still my Xena Warrior Princess heart..

So for me I guess it'll be the unstoppable chicks.*g*

I've got it! How about rooting for the unstoppable chicks to catch the hot, shirtless guys and have their way with them? Or force them to have their way with each other. I'm good either way. *g*

Hey that works for me:-))

Option number 2, cos everyone needs a little campfire... entertainment at the end of a long day's beheading people.

[identity profile] przed.livejournal.com 2010-02-25 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, option 2 really is the way to go. *g*

I have been meaning to ask where your icon is from... I don't think I'm getting the full meaning of it. *g*

[livejournal.com profile] seleneheart made it from, if you can believe it, a fashion photo shoot. Me, I like the not-so-subtle smuttiness

God bless the fashion industry. *g*

What with the word "trust" on there I thought it was a reference to a fandom I didn't recognize. *g*

I can't see the trailer at the moment (we've got videos blocked) but it sounds awesome!!! ROMANS! WARRIOR CHICKS! What could possibly be bad about that? :P

[identity profile] przed.livejournal.com 2010-02-25 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
It looks like quality, if low-budget, sword-wielding fun. (Really, if it's got swords, it's halfway there for me. *g*)

Romans and Picty Chicks! Awesome!

[identity profile] przed.livejournal.com 2010-02-25 06:15 pm (UTC)(link)
It should certainly be Too. Much. Fun.

Oh, dodgy history flicks await... and with a guest starring role from Mickey off Dr Who! Heh.

[identity profile] przed.livejournal.com 2010-02-25 08:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I pointed out Mickey to the Sweetie. He's a huge Mickey fan. No, really!

Release

[identity profile] captfuzz.livejournal.com 2010-02-25 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
It is getting a small-scale U.S. release via Magnolia/Magnet and will probably be available on Video On Demand around the same time. Not sure about Canada, but other Magnolia releases have eventually gone straight to dvd here.

Yay! Shall keep the fingers crossed for it to show up in Canada, hopefully on the big screen.
