X-Men, the Good and the Bad
Saw X-Men with a couple of mates tonight, and enjoyed it immensely. I continue to be a big old Michael Fassbender fangirl, and the scenes with him and James McAvoy were lovely and slashy.
But if anyone heard an agonized scream around 9:20 p.m. EST, that would have been me realizing that they hadn't included Take That's Love Love single in the end credits of the North American cut of the film.
Bastards.
Ah well, at least they don't seem to be blocking the video for it here in Canada anymore, so you can watch it here

I have never seen Michael Fassbinder before - I reckon he ran away with the film!!!

I'd seen Fassbender in Hunger, a fantastic if tough arty film about IRA hunger striker Bobby Sands, and he was fantastic. He and Christopher Waltz also pretty much ran away with Inglourious Basterds. I'll pretty much watch him in anything these days.

Clearly I need to get of my arse and see Inglourious Basterds!

Glad you enjoyed the video. (I'm determined to spread the Take That love, one person at a time. *g*)

Yay for unblocked video though! *g* I do love that Take That have got involved with hands down the least subtextual big screen m/m love fest of the year - it seems appropriate *g*

Definitely yay for unblocked video. And Progressed has shown up on iTunes Canada! I'm downloading it as I type. (I gave a bunch of the songs a listen on hellyeahtakethat last night and was suitably impressed. Can't wait to give them all a thorough listen.)

Since they're the least subtextual m/m love fest band on the planet, yes, it is appropriate. *g* (The Erik/Charles vibe was lovely. And oh, the hurt. And oh, the comfort. *veg*)
