The little girl got her first Tae Kwan Do belt tonight! I'm so proud, I actually sort of welled up when her instructor gave it to her. (Though she's pretty good at soccer, and she says she likes ballet, martial arts has been the first activity where her concentration is just totally there. And the smile on her face the first time she learned how to throw a jab was epic. That's my girl!)

Martial arts is a great thing for a kid. My youngest got her black belt while she was in high school. It does help them focus a lot. Congratulations!

I love martial arts, so I'm doubly happy that Ros seems to be into it. And once we get her settled in at this TKD school, I might start taking the adult classes myself. (I really miss doing the training myself, though I dare say my back and knees are less thrilled at the thought of starting up again.)

I love martial arts, and have been hoping Ros would want to try it. She picked ballet last year, but this year the martial arts won, and so far she's loving it. I'm hoping it'll help her build her perseverance. She's sometimes apt to drop things if they're at all difficult for her.

Have been reading In Private in the few stolen moments I've had in the last 24 hours. Holy heck is it full of amazing awesomeness! You almost don't need fanfic. (Well, I'll always need fanfic, but this sort of thing totally serves a similar need. Plus it's RL!)

There will definitely be fic, and I already have two new pic spams planned, and I will vid this fandom if it kills me! \o/

No, I must admit I didn't properly catch up with the old stuff other than what's in Gary's book, Rob's books and the TT Now and Then books, lazy me. I'd LOVE to get some key quotes! *g*

If you need help with the pic spam, say you need a certain picture with a certain pose or something: use me! I may not have read everything that's on the market, but I'm very very good at forever staring at pretty pictures, so I now pretty well what's out there. I would have to go into research, of course, but that's a price I'm willing to pay for the overall benefit of a perfect pic spam. *nods earnestly* Yes.

Of course, "done" is a relative concept. I ended up staying up until 1 a.m. last night working on the edits Halo suggested and the pesky ending and sex scene. But it's awfully close to seriously, really done.

I've blazed through In Private in my spare moments, and I have to say it's pretty brilliant. (I picked it up for a quid on Amazon UK, and it was so worth it.) There are just a ton of great quotes to be found in it, but here's a stand out from Rob: "I go out with Mark, our make-up guy a lot - he's gay. So what if we got to gay clubs? I'll hold his hand going down the street if I want to. I'm just naturally affectionate. I always kiss the other lads in Take That hello and goodbye - no tongues though." Oh. My. (Have to say, I so wish it was our Mark he was talking about. *g*)

As for the pic spam, I will totally take you up on the offer. There is one particular pic of Howard I'd love to track down. I'll send you a message with the details.

*grins inanely* That sounds AWESOME!! Sounds like a quotes-and-matching-pics-spam is due...the funniest thing about that particular quote is that there's an almost identical one by Mark in the Take That 1 book! I'd have to look it up, but it basically says "...we were very affectionate...(talks about kisses and hugs)...I never used tongue, though" (I just adore how he implies that it's only him not using tongue, hehe!) I feel the urgend need to re-read those books! And I so hope and wish they are going to release a Take That Part 3 book soon!!!

And: yesss, please, use me!! I still owe you soooooo much! I'd love to be able to give back a little, so much I'd take the hardship of searching through tons of Howard pictures! *g*

The story is done! Well, I need to do a bit of weapons research for two scenes, but that's it! Yay! And without me even giving the ending a cosh 'round the head. (I still don't love the ending, but I've got until the end of the month to tweak if I like. Yay, again!

Now I have to pull out Take 1 to read again. Oh, the hardship. *g* I'm still waiting for my copy of Take 2. Amazon Canada ran out before I ordered a copy, and they were suppose to re-release it on Sept. 1, but I'm still waiting for it to ship. I'm hoping they'll at least get it out when the DVD comes out. And I still have hopes they'll put together a Take 3.

Okay, I'm finally going to send the info on that Howard pic I'm keeping an eye out for. I know it'll be a tough job, but I'm sure you're up to the task.

Apart from being stupid busy and fighting my BB story tooth and nail to get the climactic scene on paper, or pixels, it's been a good couple of days. I also got my copy of Take That In Private today in the post. Yay! I'm hoping that'll hold me over until they finally ship the re-release of Take Two. (One month late and counting, not that I'm bitter. )

::makes high pitched noises in harmony with yours:: I really, really, really hope it's not just the app footage. Because that was...seriously disappointing. But the official site says a whole disk worth of extras, and the app stuff wouldn't take more than a smidge of that, so there must be more to it. And snuggling! There must be snuggling! And Jason! Please, please, please let there be some actual footage of Jason. Preferably snuggling Howard.
