Snow Day, Part Deux

The snow stopped by the time we got out of the movie last night (and Point Break is still brilliant, BTW) but we are now officially snowed in. We got up early to go to our family Mandarin class and discovered our plow guy hasn't done our lane yet, and there's no way we're getting the car out any time soon.

On the positive side, because it was the golden hour when I was checking the lane, everything was pretty and I couldn't resist taking a few pictures. Staring with the street leading to our lane.

Here's the view from the front of our house.

And here's the lane way from right in front of our garage. I'm just hoping it gets plowed before I've got to take Ros to rock climbing tomorrow morning.

And here I was chilly at 60ish. Good heavens. I'm sooo glad I'm here! LOL! Snow is pretty to look at but hell to live with.

At 60ish I'd practically be wearing shorts. *g*

You do get used to the snow, but getting around has definitely been a slog today.

I've lived in Pennsylvania and in the Colorado mountains at 8,500 feet near a ski resort, so yeah, I know snow. Which is why I currently live in a tropical place. But not for long!
