After feeling stressed and paralysed for the last week or so by the amount of stuff I have to do before our trip (T minus 9 days to China, AIIIEEEEE!) I have been in a ridiculously good mood all day. Partly it's because it was the day I got to do a really cool project at work and it went really well. But mostly it's down to Take That. Because today:

There were pictures posted of Mark Owen filming a music video in Berlin yesterday

The track listing of his new solo album was sussed out by some determined Italian fans

So it looks like his album will actually be coming out. Knock on wood and fingers crossed. Yay!

And on top of that, milfiepumpkin just posted an awesome illustration for If Love is a Game! I have no word for how amazing that is!

MARK OWEN, WHEEEEE!! (What does it say about me that I only noticed how tiny he looks here when you pointed it out?) Yep, that's a shot from the video shoot. There's also one of him in an astronaut outfit making the rounds. (Oh, Mark, never change!)

Here's my reaction to the album news: YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! I'm a leetle bit excited. And ready to bask in his radiance. \o/

That story is so much fun and your Howard always cracks me up (I actually can't see him being any different than that ;)).

Finally some news about the album, how amazing is that?! Those pictures are very.. uhm.. interesting :p But he does look good in his space suit ;). New music, soon please!

I feel like I'm channeling Howard's twitter persona lately. Which is far too much fun. (Was just writing a much longer, much more serious story, and Howard was the one character who got me out of trouble every time I wrote myself into a corner.)

I was beginning to fear the album wasn't going to happen, so it's completely amazing that it seems to be coming together. Yay! The pics are..interesting. But then I realized, this is Markie, the one who came up with the idea for the Om and who knows what else. If the video wasn't a bit wacky, there'd be something wrong. And he does look good in the spacesuit!

Definitely new music soon!

Same here, not a word about the record for months and it’s so hard to remain patient ;) But then Mark is a perfectionist, so he needs his time. Thankfully the moment seems to be approaching :D

Haha true, some wackiness should be expected and I’m sure the video will be highly entertaining ;) (Somehow I’m just a bit worried that people won’t give it a chance if things get too wacky and that his music won’t get the recognition it deserves once more. Totally pointless worries in these happy times ;))

I generally don't do much on Twitter except check what Howard's up to. And I got the final beta on that much longer story today, and it's now done! The plan is to post it tomorrow.

Mark's perfectionist tendencies are quite likely the reason why the album has been taking soooo long. But I trust him to get it right.

I have to admit, I'm a bit worried about him not getting the credit and success he deserves with the new music too. I still can't understand why his other albums weren't far more successful. But there's no use borrowing trouble before the album's even out. I'm just going to try and be patient and enjoy it when it arrives. And if I get a chance to see him do his solo stuff live, I will be ecstatic!

I don't use Twitter for much else either and Howard's crude sense of humour is the best thing I can think of on there anyway (that last tweet *g*). I like the sound of this plan al lot!

First the music had to be perfect, then the cover art, the video, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if Mark was having trouble delegating and just ended up doing everything himself.

It's incomprehensible to me too, but you're right, no use at all. The album's something amazing to look forward to and I'm pretty sure all the waiting will be more than worth it. I'm hoping so hard it will be possible to see him live, then we can all be ecstatic! ;)

The plan has come together. The new, loooong story is up on takethatslash and AO3! And it didn't even kill me. ;-)

I can just see Mark trying to do it all. Especially without the other boys there to balance out his perfectionist tendencies. (Here's hoping Jamie Norton and Ben Mark will keep him on an even keel.)

The news about Mark filming a video in Berlin made me very happy, and I love that pic! It looks like it will be a very interesting video :)
