Leafs and Badgers Ahoy

Two sports posts in one day. You'll have to forgive me.

Ros had a disappointing evening, as her beloved Leafs lost to the Habs. It was a good game, though.

The Badgers, though... wow, what a game. Oregon was ahead for a lot of the game, but it was almost always just by a few points. But then in the second half the Badgers finally took the lead. It was still a nail biter, though, all the way to the end. And then with 9 seconds to go, my recording ran out, leaving me running for the laptop to confirm that, yes, the Badgers did hold their lead and win.

Also, I now totally want this t-shirt:

If only because it makes me think of this song:

This is the Badgers wayyyyy...

Congrats to the Badgers! Our #18 UCONN Huskies beat #2 ranked Villanova tonight to get to the Sweet 16, and our son's unranked Coastal Carolina University Chanticleers gave #1 Virginia a good fight yesterday.

Oh, congrats to both your teams! The Chanticleers giving Virginia a good fight is great, but the Huskies beating Villanova is even better. Hope they make it past the Sweet 16.

It's an uphill battle from here on out, but Shabazz Napier is pretty terrific. Best of luck to the Badgers!

Best of luck to the Huskies, too!

Go Badgers!! \o/ This is turning into a very interesting tournament, given the early demise of several favorites. Who knows what might happen?

Favourites getting thrown out early is making it very interesting. (Duke out in the first round?! How did that happen?!)

I've got my fingers crossed the Badgers can keep it together at least one more round.
