Heh, this is true of course. And I believe Sheffield Wednesday used to be called just 'The Wednesday' and were originally a cricket club I think!

The Scottish leagues tend to throw up some corkers as far as names go. I always liked Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and Hamilton Academical. And the holy grail of Saturdays spent listening to the pools results being read out on TV and hoping against hope that you'd hear 'East Fife five, Forfar four'. :D
