Fics on AO3

It's time for the 2014 edition of this meme:

List your ten fics at AO3 that have had the most hits.

(Actually, I should probably do it in about a week, but since we'll be in Disney World then--god help me--I reckoned I'd do it now.)

1. In the Bleak Midwinter
Pros My 2011 Pros Big Bang story, and the last entry (so far) in the Comfort and Joy series. Unchanged from #1 last year.

2. Firsts
Pros A series of vignettes of firsts in Bodie and Doyle's lives, and one of the hardest stories I've ever written. Also unchanged from last year.

3. Exile
Pros My lonely Pros novel, and the absolute hardest thing I've ever written. (It took eight years to finish, give or take.) Another one that's the same as last year.

4. Nothing Worth Having
Sherlock Holmes, RDJ Movie-verse My one Holmes/Watson/Mary OT3. Again, it's in the same place as last year. (It also has a bucket load more kudos than any other story I've posted. The benefit, no doubt, of it being one of the few stories I've written in a huge fandom.)

5. Happy Endings
Pros Young mercenary Bodie meets young copper Doyle. Yep, this was #5 last year too.

6. Live 'Til You Die. Pros Look! A new story on the list! This was an entry for the [livejournal.com profile] hc_bingo sacrifice square.

7. Pretty Little Liars
Take That My entry for the inaugural Take That Big Bang in 2012. And we're back to one that's unchanged from last year.

8. Down a Dark Desert Highway
A Knight's Tale, Hotel California A Yuletide story. Down from #6 last year.

9. An Open Book
Sherlock Holmes, RDJ Movie-verse Down one place from #8 last year.

10. Dreaming of a White Christmas
Take That The only other new story on this year's list, and I'm pleased it's a TT one. As you can probably tell from the title, it was my 2013 Christmas story, and a sequel to Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, which was #10 on the list two years ago.

Lots of Pros, but not one Man from UNCLE. Bummer. *g*

The lack of UNCLE makes me a bit sad, but with one or two exceptions the UNCLE stories are all old zine ones, so it does make sense.

Interesting that lots of Pros is on yours. Mine is nearly all SPN and Sentinel, I think - no Starsky and Hutch and no Pros.

No Pros on your list?! I suppose that makes sense, but it just seems wrong.

Interesting to look at the hits on one's stories, especially since the ones I like best are never the top ones. :)

It's definitely interesting was ends up being popular. And interesting in how it can completely miss the pre-internet, pre-archive portion of your fannish history.
