So. Tired

Have just spent the whole day (from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) taking Ros and one of her best friends to the Canadian National Exhibition (The Ex to us locals). This is like a giant fall fair with a giant midway and loads of things to do. Ros and her friend did the kids' circus workshop three times, hit all the midway funhouses multiple times, and found a gymnastics activity area connected to the upcoming Pan Am games.

If I wasn't knackered before, I am now.

But it was a totally fun day.

Circus workshops - is she juggling? Hula-hooping? Diabolo-spinning? All of them at once? :)

Yeah, I know.

In the circus workshops they get to try tightrope walking and acrobatics (building pyramids out of kids) as well as less physical stuff like plate spinning. Ros being Ros, she likes the tightrope and the acrobatics.

I nearly didn't survive. I was okay until about 8, but then I started fading and getting a might tetchy. The girls, however, were bouncing even on the way home, and appear to have had a great time. \o/

My plans for the coming long weekend include as much lounging as life will allow. Which probably isn't nearly enough, but I'll take what I can.

The day finally caught up with Ros tonight. She was as tired as me. Though I'm sure the three bouncy castles they had at daycare for the end of summer helped.
