Vid: Pieces of Heaven (Pros)

I've finally gotten around to posting my new vid.

I've managed to combine my two favourite fandoms: Pros for the source, and one of Mark Owen's solo tracks for the song.

You can go straight to the YT page here.

YT says they're blocking it in certain countries, so you can download an .mp4 version from here. (If you do find it blocked, do comment and let me know where you are. I've got a dispute in on the copyright issue, but I'm curious to know where it's being blocked.)

That is gorgeous! Well done, you.

Thanks!

And also, hooray, you can see it! I wasn't entirely sure if YT had pulled it entirely.

Seems to be working in the States, at least.

Well, that's something.

I can see the vid in my journal, but in the [livejournal.com profile] teaandswissroll posting it's showing as "this file is no longer available." YT might be convenient to view on, but it's a pain in the arse for vidding.

So it does. How very odd. *shrugs* Computer gremlins.

That's SUPERB! :))

Thank you!

Oh, yay for making it available for people! I haven't tested the YT link, but I did download it for my very own. *g* It's so wonderful to see a new vid from you!

Aww, thanks. I don't think it's quite my best work, but I've been wanting to vid this song for ages.

I love this, the powerful music matches the chosen scenes perfectly. Well done!

Thank you! (For the beta too!)

You're welcome, I enjoyed it.

This is beautiful and I have now watched it three times already. :)

Yay! This is a vid I've wanted to make for, oh, several years, so it's great to hear you're enjoying it.

What a wonderful combination of fandoms indeed *g*

Markie's heartfelt existential angst does suit the boys so well - that sense of trying to make sense of a dark job and a life that's subsumed by it is so well evoked here. And then the redeeming qualities of their relationship, the elusive 'pieces' they have found together - I love how you bring out the contrast with the changes in the tone and tempo of the music.

Just the sort of epic inspiration that will help my on the final push with the Big Bang - thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous vid *g*

I'm glad you approve. *g*

Mark's angst does suit the boys, doesn't It? The very first time I heard this song (and loved it immediately; it's one of my very favourite of Mark's) it immediately said Pros to me. From the "somewhere someone passed away line" to the chorus, it just so it them looking to make sense of a very dark job and finding it in each other.

And I'm happy to have been of assistance with the BB. Can't wait to read it!

YT worked for me here in Oz, and I'm so very glad it did - this is marvellous, thank you.
