A little more than a month ago Take That broke my heart a little when Jason Orange left the band. They've just helped make up for that a bit with their first video as a threesome, which starts with Howard, Gary and Mark in bed together. No, really! See!



There follows a series of wacky situations, including Howard getting a spray tan.


God bless Howard Donald and his willingness to get nearly naked. Or, you know, actually naked.

In other news, I've managed to write 440 words of a Starsky & Hutch Christmas story. That's 440 more words than I've had the time or energy to write in months. Yay!

And while I have no concrete ideas for my Yuletide story, I offered two of the fandoms my recipient asked for and am currently mulling over whether I want to do a crazy crossover of said fandoms. (It wouldn't be the craziest crossover I've ever done, but it would be...odd.)

I am ridiculously taken with the vid. Especially since I realized I could play it on our big TV through the Apple TV box. Yay for technology! (They're totally into the dad dancing phase of their career, though.)

Howard has the best Twitter feed. You never know what he's going to do next.

No one seems to know what Mr. Orange is up to. Given that he managed to live off his '90s earnings for ten years just backpacking around the world, doing a few qualification courses and, in his own words, pondering, it's anyone's guess.

Yay for writing fic! Hope you have inspiration for Yuletide too, soon!

I only matched on one fandom but I realised that not only do I know the other two fandoms my recipient requested but the three of them couldn't be more perfectly designed for a crossover. I don't know if my recipient likes crossovers though, so I plan to write a regular fic then a bonus one crossing them, just for the hell of it, if i get time.

Definitely yay for writing fic! Though I'm still struggling with finding the time to write. It's either stay up ridiculously late or get no writing at all done.

Good luck with your story (stories?). I usually only have time to write one Yuletide story (see above) but will be interested to see what you end up doing.

It’s my new favourite video, it’s got it all! (Minus Jason.) Sharing a bed, glittery outfits, all sorts of wackiness (Howard making the duck face the other way must be my favourite bit, the poor guy’s so shy *g*), Mark with the most lovely smile, bursting with happiness, Gary and his obvious love for dancing and Howard getting (nearly) naked should be the standard (or is it already? *g*). Starting to really love the song now too thanks to the video (already did, it’s a lovely catchy tune, but I love their voices too much for them to be mixed like that and become a bit unrecognizable).

It's becoming perilously close to my new favourite video too. (Will it unseat Shine and Kidz? Stay tuned.) So much lovely stuff in there.

I quite like the song, but like you I take issue with the mix. When it's difficult to tell the difference between their voices, that's not a good thing. But I've had it happily stuck in my head for days now and have taken to playing the video on our TV and bopping around the house. (I'm enjoying it immensely. The Sweetie is less impressed. *g*)
