I really am very tempted! It's right on my birthday weekend - which, y'know, pretty cool present to myself, right? Thing is, I rather suspect other surprise!travel plans are afoot which is great, but ack! Well, we'll see. For right now I'll be all Politician about it and say I'm not ruling anything either in or out at this stage... Best of luck with all the planning and organizing though!

It would be so lovely to have you come to the con. And on your birthday, too! (Perhaps you could also convince heliophile_oxon to come...)

And maybe you can drop hints that a surprise travel plans might be better made on a slightly different weekend. ;-)
