Interestingly, the survey seems to have a complete unawareness of the fannish uses of blogging. Or is it just me?

Not just fandom per se. If you were using a journal for any kind of hobby, it wouldn't have been covered by those answers.

Well, despite these comments, I went over and took the survey...I figure, if the word spreads through LJ, surely to goodness one of those 5000 that they intend to investigate will come from this part of the net. And then they'd have to be blind not to see the fandom stuff.

That's what I'm hoping. I just found the extremely limiting categories they gave you to choose from a tab, um, frustrating. They could have at least given us an "Other" category.

Yeah. That bothered me a lot. I mean, I comment about politics all the time, but the main focus of my lj is for fannish stuff.
