Film Fest News

We just got the email telling us which films we got tickets to at the Toronto film fest.

The Good News
I did get tickets to the re-screening of both North Country (yay Sean!) and A History of Violence (yay Viggo!). It's highly unlikely that either of them will bother turning up at a 9 a.m. screening, but I live in hope. Plus, I'm just pumped to see both these films.

The Bad News
We failed to get tickets to Brokeback Mountain. No gay cowboys for me, more's the pity.

The Consolation Prize
I did manage to get tickets to Eleven Men Out, so I'm off to the gay footie movie.

Now, off to figure out what to do with those last 4 tickets that I didn't get films for.

So just who got BBM tickets?!!! We didn't get them either, and that was one of our top pics! Going to see "Corpse Bride" instead.

I don't know anyone who's gotten BBM tix yet. I have a feeling it's one of those ones they're filling up with comps to sponsors, darn them anyway.

We'll have to make an event of it when it comes out later this fall.
