Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yours" and people who get tagged need to write an LJ entry about their 5 quirks as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

1) I'm not the neatest person in the world. Any horizontal surface in my house will accumulate stuff, be it mail, zines, in-progress stories, grocery receipts or whatever happened to be in my hand when I came through the door. Makes my sweetie crazy.

2) I've always got too many books and zines on the go at once. And I'm lousy at finishing anything that's not at the top level of my obsessions. (That would be Pros at the moment, just in case you hadn't noticed.)

3) I must have the closet door in my bedroom closed when sleeping. 'Cause you know, closet monsters.

4) I see over a hundred movies in the theatre every year, with 30 of those seen during the 10 days of the Toronto film fest. (For the record, I think this is perfectly reasonable behaviour, but I've seen the look in enough people's faces when I tell 'em to know that this is often considered utterly bonkers.)

5) I have a fondness for the military. Military movies, military novels, military memoirs, what have you. And if they're SAS memoirs, I'm over the moon. This also makes my sweetie, left-wing, pacifist dude that he is, utterly crazy. Not that I'm not a good leftie, just not a total pacifist.

Correct. The half-German spouse is the orderly cleaning half of our dynamic duo. Thank goodness he likes to vacuum and clean bathrooms! *counts extra lucky stars*

OMG! I think Don and your guy were separated at birth. We spent yesterday cleaning house and Don was, wait for it, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms. Plus, he's part German on his dad's side. Heh.

Cripes. Does Don enjoy RPGs, Italian food, and sleeping? Those are the next big three, aside from work.

Ah, there's where it all breaks down. He likes Italian food well enough, but movies and music on his iPod definitely come next on the enjoyment list. And he's never been a gamer. Sleeping is probably up there, though.

Whew, looks like they can meet without the universe exploding after all.
