Extra AMFAS Ticket

In less than a week, [livejournal.com profile] shayheyred, [livejournal.com profile] justacat and I will be leaving for England to see Martin Shaw in A Man for All Seasons. (Pause for a brief squee!) Unfortunately, another friend who was supposed to come, can't, so we're unexpectedly in possession of an extra ticket (Tuesday, January 31st, 7:45 p.m., 5th row, dead centre).

Words cannot express how much I am looking forward to seeing the production. (Apart from the chance to see Martin on stage, it doesn't hurt that it's a play I very much adore.)

Oh lucky you! I won't even say have a fun time - because I'm sure you will. Squee at MS from me *g*

When you're there - there's a strange Italian restaurant sensi-girl and I have lunch at called Salieri. It's in the Theatre District (376 Strand, Covent Garden, London, WC2R 0LQ, the bus stops right outside), the food is okay - but we go there mainly for the over-the-top decorations and the waiters wearing wests with naked butts on. Fun!

And - thank you so much for the gorgeous card you sent!!! Happy new year to you too! (It arrived today.)

Canada Post outdid itself on the card. The hubby only took it to the post office on Tuesday.
