I've got a bunch of longer stories on the go, but I've snuck this short piece into the queue. It's a goofy little sequel to my very first Stucky story, The Altar Boy Act.

Hey, I realized I don't have your email. Doh. I wanted to tell you that I'm doing a film about slash fandom for my grad school thesis. We're going with a made up buddy cop fandom for the "fic" parts of the movie. More Miami Vice than I Spy, but still, I thought you'd get a kick out of it. :D

I'm just a bit pleased with that series title, I have to admit.

I did see someone had linked to the kickstarter for your film, and was going to go back it when I was on my laptop as opposed to my phone. Which I am now! (I am an old school Miami Vice fan, though that was long before I discovered fandom, so I'll definitely get a kick out of it.)

My "But Rico was amaaaazing" feelings will be all over it. Hahaha. (Though I get why EJO was so popular. I mean... woof! But still!) I'm doing a little zine as part of it too. It'll be my first zine! We'll see if I manage to go broke doing the paper version after we do the film. Hahaha.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I have a whole dead delicious and live pinboard full of links that I will totally look at when I get back to my computer one day. ;D

My fave character in Vice was Zito, because I'm perverse that way. (I like pretty, but I also like odd. And doomed sidekicks. I seem to specialize in doomed sidekicks.)

Good luck with the paper zine! I published one paper zine (Pros) in my life, and while I'm proud of that sucker, I'm so never doing that again. The formatting alone took about a year of my life. I really wish that was an exaggeration.

Hahaha. Yeah, I've run across a few people who love Zito. He never did much for me, except there's that one Mary Van Deusen vid about Switek getting revenge that is just so amazing. She did the same song with other fandoms, but those two just didn't have the same impact as the MV one.
