I was hoping it would be another Man for All Seasons--that was a wonderful production, and Martin was wonderful in it--but alas, no. Martin did, however, class the joint up. And I'd never turn down the chance to see him in anything.
I try to see at least a bit of theatre locally, and the Toronto scene is pretty good, but London theatre is truly in a class by itself. I feel very lucky to have been over twice this year. It's been years since I was over.
