I've somehow managed to finish my picfor1000 story, in spite of a migraine and then learning about Leonard Nimoy's passing. (My first memory of watching TV is of Star Trek, and Spock was always the character closest to my heart.)

Notes: This was originally meant to be a few vignettes that I could knock out in a week or two. It ended up being a whole lot more than that, with a nutty structure that took me severals years to unravel. I couldn't have done it without the friends who helped me fix it where it was broken and figure out which vignettes to leave in and which to pull out. Thanks to msmoat and FJBryan for helping out with the structural stuff and making sure it didn't topple over, and to callistosh65 and ancastar for beta duties above and beyond the call once I had an actual complete draft.
