Thanks! I'm sooo glad I finally got it cut again. Pre-Ros, I always had it short, but post-Ros scheduling haircuts kind of got away from me, and I thought I'd experiment with the long hair thing for a while. Having found a place I can get my haircut during lunch is making me very happy.
Tying back long hair definitely makes it easier to handle--when mine got really long this winter I loved putting it in braid, just 'cause I could--and I love the idea of your co-workers using your pony-tail as a bell pull to get your attention. 'Tis definitely affectionate. *g*
