Actually I was envious to the point that I had to have a Stewart Copeland dream last night. In the one segment of the dream I was at this hotel/resort for some function and all still brooding about not being able to go the screening and when I turn around there's this writer I know talking with Stewart Copeland. The writer introduces me and I fawn all over Stewart (he's much younger looking in the dream). We have some connection about something or other, I forget what we were discussing. Suddenly he looks at his watch and says he really needs to be going he's got this screening thing to attend. I say that's all right and bid him farewell.
As soon as he is led away by his people, I think to myself, "Hey, I bet you P. is waiting for the screening to start. I should call her on her cell and tell her screening is going to be late starting and that I am the reason." I smile and then realize you're a good film geek and wouldn't have your cell phone on in the screening anyhow, so I don't call.
Weird I think that must be my first ever "Police" related dream. I can't wait for this documentary to come out on DVD.
