I confess that it took me 2 years to watch the last episode of RHODES as I knew he died. Not as if his death was from injuries sustained by being mauled by a Lion or something - knew it was because of his ongoing ill-health. It just took me that long to pluck up the courage to watch Martin die. Of course now I know how stupid I was.
He has died before - Mr White in OILMAN (Nightmares Video) and Captain Scott in LAST PLACE ON EARTH - but that was different.
The graveside scene in Rhodes was brilliantly acted that I can admit to.
Don't know if any writer has drawn from that scene.
