Heh. Just saw this post. Except for the part about skipping class to see Stormy Monday, it sounds just like the story of my own obsession. Only along with Sean, and Boromir, and Sharpe, I've also got Faramir, and Aragorn, and dark!Aragorn ("He will never love me, I fear; for he bit me, and I was not gentle"). And yes, RPS is the good/bad crack. So where does that leave Andy McNab? If you watch Sean playing Andy getting tortured and all you can do is shiver and think "oh my god, he Suffers Beautifully," does that make you Evil[tm]? If you then write fanfiction about Sean's Andy, are you really writing RPF? *sob*
