The Sweetie has passed his driving test! On the first go! (I failed my first time, but that wasn't surprising since I had a fever of 102 and shouldn't even have been behind the wheel of a car.) And his instructor says he tied for the highest score of any of his students.

I'm extremely chuffed for him. And very pleased that he can now trade off with me when we're highway driving.

He's still got to pass the final road test in a year, but I reckon he'll do fine on that as well. And he won't have to worry about it for a year.

He's actually a pretty good driver. When he's not freaking out about the crazy things other drivers are doing.

And I don't know that I'll let him on the 401 too soon. I'm looking forward, however, to him driving up the 400.

I think we'll be doing the big family visit road trip this summer.

It'll be so much more pleasant with two drivers.
