When Last We Saw the Sweetie...

...he was cursing me for introducing him to Supernatural. After one episode, Nightshifter, he was intrigued, but still sort of in denial.

Sweetie: Okay, save me the episodes on the PVR, but I'm still not sure I'm gonna watch it.

Half way through his second episode, Houses of the Holy, he changed his tune.

Sweetie: Damn you! Okay, I'm totally watching this show.

Tonight we watched his third episode, All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1, and he's poised to become a bigger fangirl, um, I mean fanboy than me.

Sweetie: Supernatural is out on DVD, right?
Me: Yeah.
Sweetie: So when are you going to get it? I want to see first season.

Transformation complete. Plus I get to pick up the disks guilt free.

Now I've just got my fingers crossed that the new season doesn't suck. (I'm cautiously optimistic, since Kripke's been able to hold it together so far and since I'm not at all invested in the whole Wincest thing.) And hey, even if it does suck, we've got two years of eps to get caught up on...

Crap, I think I need me a SPN icon.

Making myself SPN icons was probably the most productive things I did all day yesterday.

So Yay! We're actually in the same fandom at the same time for once. Or at least Mr. Zed and I are. ;-)

You're not coming down to Word on the Street with me today, are you?

I don't know that you can actually call either of us "in the fandom." There will be no reading of fic in our household. But we're both totally loving the show.

As for Word on the Street, we were thinking of doing it but buying a new futon before Don's mom visits next week has become the day's priority.
