I always struggle with Arwen myself (Aragorn belongs with Boromir...) but finally decided to struggle with her point of view for a while. It was a fight to find her voice and make her a sympathetic character, but I'm glad you think it worked. (I had worries of her coming off as the dreaded Mary Sue.)
