I just wrote my first cover letter. I'm pretty sure it sucked, but the job posting closes before my first real appointment with the job search coach my ex-company sprang for.
I'd say I'm enjoying the time off, but I haven't really had any yet. I've been beating my resume into shape, had my orientation with the outplacement company today and have two days of training in Photoshop at the end of the week that my company sprang for as a parting gift. And next week will be a ton of job search seminars.
How is your recovery going? No nasty surprises I hope.
