Off to BASCon
Nov. 4th, 2004 04:00 pmIn another half an hour I'll be making the trek out to the airport to fly to San Francisco for this year's edition of BASCon. I'm so looking forward to the con, as I'm in definite need of distraction, being distraught with the state of the world in general and the U.S. in particular.
But for a few days, I can put all that out of my mind, hang out with friends, mod a vidding panel with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
morgandawn, mod a spies and slash panel solo, attend the vid show, see one of my best friends from grad school, eat great food and generally try and relax.
Note to self: Don't ask the nice INS guy or gal at the airport WTF his country was thinking unless you want to get banned from the U.S. in perpetuity.
