It's Going to Be an Interesting Summer
Apr. 29th, 2012 12:10 amGot a call today from the soccer club Ros plays with. Looks like they took me up on my offer and I'm going to be coaching her U6 soccer team.
Yikes.
I've been an unofficial assistant coach the last couple of years--meaning I've done the player rotation and led the team when the coach is on vacation--but this year I'll be handling a team all on my own. At least there are referees this year.
Ros is happy. (She's been encouraging me to volunteer for the last two years.) I'm slightly terrified.
