I've just had my third day in London, and still having a lovely time.

So far I've:
  • Seen an improv show at The Comedy Store
  • Seen Judi Dench and a stellar cast in A Midsummer Night's Dream
  • Seen Richard Griffiths and Alex Jennings in The Habit of Art at the National
  • Seen War Horse
  • Eaten lots of lovely meals
  • Bought some books for Ros

Also, I'm sure all you Brits already knew this, but you can get Top Gear trading cards. Really! (I may have to get a pack just for fun.)

We're hoping to do two more plays tomorrow, and then I'll be winging my way back home on Thursday afternoon. Crazy! But fun!

Also, a-ha finally announced a Toronto show yesterday. (The fuckers would wait till I was out of the country.) But the Sweetie proved his awesomeness yet again and got me a couple. Yay!

A trip to London that's visiting with a lovely mate, going to the theatre and out to eat? *sings* Heaven, I'm in heaven... Can you fox trot? *twirls you*

They probably have TG playing cards too... I have a set with Doctor Nine on them that my mates always try to pinch.

    The Sweetie's a keeper, just saying. :D

I can indeed fox trot. But who's going to lead? *g*

I'm sure there are Who cards out there too. (Hmmm, shall have to pop by Forbidden Planet again.)

The Sweetie is indeed a keeper. Now we just have to hope the tickets don't get pinched from our mailbox. (We really need to get a locking mailbox soon.)

We'll just switch for every circuit of the floor right? Right! I will warn you that when leading I do indeed like to dip. ND did make this icon for me after all. *G*

I will keep my fingers crossed about the tickets.

    I so love Judi Dench.

Went to London eons ago when I was a sexy young lass. Can barely remember a thing except for the beer.

I hear War Horse is supposed to be amazing. Seeing Judi Dench would be on my top ten list of things to do.

Love the idea of Top Gear trading cards.

a-ha in Toronto? Wish I could go. Maybe they'll come on this side of the border.

a-ha are playing New York, L.A. and Chicago. The Chicago show just got announced with the Toronto one, so there might still be tickets available.

It's been lovely. I'll be glad to see Ros again myself. I keep thinking how much fun she'd have here.

I don't know that it's stamina so much as obsession. (How much theatre can I take in? *g*) Still, it's been fab.

She is fab, but then so was the rest of the cast. The bloke who played Bottom was outstanding, and I'm not usually a fan of the mechanicals.

Sounds like you need another trip to jolly olde England. *g*

Well this all sounds like a fine old time! So glad you're having fun - and how good is The Sweetie for picking up those tickets?! Fab. :)

It's been brilliant. (Two more plays today, both lovely.) I'll be winging home tomorrow, but I've enjoyed my wee English holiday while it's lasted.
