przedI am thoroughly disgusted with our police force, and the politicians who are apparently falling all over themselves to justify this sort of behaviour.
It's a good thing I didn't see any police today, because I was determined to go up to one and tell them how thoroughly I have lost faith in them. And given the crap going on, it would probably be even odds for whether I was arrested.
And here's a link to a press conference of a freelance reporter who was beaten by police, arrested, and thrown into the temporary detention facility they set up not ten minutes from my house, where he talks about the appalling conditions in the facility, and the way to police were bald-facedly attempting to intimidate protesters from using their right to free speech.
