Howard (and Jason) protecting Mark is a huge portion of the reason I enjoyed your apocafic so much. The thought of there being loads of this sort of thing out there is a very good thing. (I'm still waiting for confirmation of my markiewhumpers membership. *sob*)
I actually find the "whatcha lookin' at" lyric, as delivered by him, sort of adorable, but yeah, in the general run of things, he fails pretty spectacularly at being threatening.
I'm definitely going to pinch some of those pic spam shots. Yowza.
And that GQ interview was very interesting. The bit where Mark displays his vulnerability about his position in the bad at first ("I don't know what my role was...I was very, very fortunate to be honest") just makes me want to hug him and feed him cookies and tell him everything will be all right. And that right there is his role: to be adorable! (Actually, I'm falling for his voice as well. I'm fond of a number of singers with flawed voices, and his has some interesting flaws. Barlow's voice is objectively a lot better, but it does absolutely nothing for me.)
