Just another thought. I did a bit more reading yesterday, and I think that one of the things I really like about your stories is the way we get to see Bodie and Doyle through other characters eyes, like Cowley of course, but you also use Murphy a lot, and I love that. You help us see inside their heads, watch scenes play out from their POVs, and that gives us a different perspective on the lads. And I couldn't resist, I read Phoenix Rising again last night, it still made me shiver...
