Yuletide Assignment, Ho
Nov. 2nd, 2012 06:00 pmMy assignment is for the fandom I added at the last minute because I thought it might be cool.
It will be cool, but in the meantime it's also a little terrifying. On the positive side, my recipient's Dear Yulegoat letter has asked for exactly the same kind of story I like myself, so yay!
The Sweetie is also chuffed about the assignment because he's keen on watching the source again, so there will not doubt be several viewings of the source material in the next few weeks.

Date: 2012-11-02 10:08 pm (UTC)I shall be swatting up as well, although I also really lucked out in my assignment. On the other hand, I had spent a lot more time thinking about possible stories in the fantoms I was more terrified about. So, now, there is a bit of panic.
Well! This is all very exciting. Of course it would be the one you added at the last minute. Sod's law!

Date: 2012-11-02 10:11 pm (UTC)I suspect part of you even as you typed in that fourth fandom knew this was going to happen.
Oooooh you got lucky with your letter? Erm, I could have phrased that better.
I think I'm not going to look at my letter until the morning when hopefully I'll be feeling better about it.

Date: 2012-11-02 10:12 pm (UTC)Go you for lucking out on your assignment. Getting a good assignment on your first year is better than the opposite.
My assignment might be the one I added at the last minute, but it's also one I've idly speculated on writing since, so it's probably a good thing.
And to end EEEEEEEKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!! (Which is an entirely valid reaction to all things Yuletide.)

Date: 2012-11-02 10:26 pm (UTC)I am, of course, consumed with curiosity regarding your assignment. Can one simultaneously be eager for the reveal and yet want to hold back time just a little bit? Ah, yes, the push/pull of Yuletide. *g*

Date: 2012-11-03 03:58 am (UTC)Test driving Yuletide icons is always a fun thing. I had a few but found I always came back to this one, so now it's my go to Yuletide one.
