For the very first takethatslash Big Bang, I had the pleasure of creating a vid for jennicide's wonderful story, The Patron Saint of Lost Causes. The song is by Anberlin, and was suggested by Jenn.

Aww, thanks so much! It was challenging finding footage to use (especially of Howard), but the song Jenn suggested was lovely and perfect for the story, and it was ultimately very satisfying to work on.

I watched the vid and loved it, then read the fic, watched the vid again and loved it even more. It portrays the story perfectly and evokes those same sad emotions, while being beautiful and hopeful at the same time. So glad you finished your own story in time and still found the energy to make this, must've been a lot of work!

I'm so glad you think it works with the story. It was an inspiring fic, and Jenn gave me the perfect song to vid for it. I'm also very glad I finished my own story in time to sign up to vid as well. I don't vid nearly enough anymore.
